Hi there! Wondering about what this blog is all about? Confused about the title?  

Well I can't say I blame you about my blog's title. It came about when I was stuck trying to think of a name for this site and in my desperation turned to a book lying near me on my desk. That happened to be Virginia Woolf's Mrs Dalloway, which is one of my favourites. I then took a quote from a section that I admired and proceeded to butcher it out of recognition and into a three word title. It certainly doesn't resemble Woolf in any meaningful way and yet I've grown strangely attached to it.

As to the purpose of this blog - it is a part of a university module called Author Study. Almost all of you will already know this as you're also on the course, but if anyone else stumbles upon this then feel very welcome to stay and even comment!
